ReFLEX offers a range of EV Support Packages to suit your circumstances and needs. Our EV Support Packages help mitigate common concerns about leasing and maintaining an EV.

EV Support Package for Customers Leasing through ReFLEX

The EV Support Package is an optional service that lease customers can sign up to when you lease an electric vehicle through ReFLEX. It provides help if your vehicle needs servicing or repairs, and gives you access to use our demo vehicles.

Your contract for the EV Support package will be the same length as your lease – which can be 2, 3 or 4 years – and if you extend your lease you can extend the support package as well.

  • ReFLEX Lease EV Support Package Offering
    • For £20 + VAT = £24 per month the EV Support package includes:
      • A courtesy vehicle when your vehicle needs servicing or repairs.
      • Enhanced warranty cover specific to Orkney, that covers one free return ferry journey at freight rates if your vehicle requires warranty work at a main dealer off Orkney. ***
      • Access to additional electric vehicles including longer-range cars and a van at low cost. If you need a vehicle of a different size or longer range, you can use one of our demo fleet vehicles for a discounted rate.
      • Advice on EV chargers suitable for your ReFLEX vehicle including assistance with installation and any grant support schemes.
      • Support with getting your vehicle delivered to Orkney.
        • If you sign up for our EV Support package then you will be billed for the ferry at cost which ranges from approximately £180-£210 (CHECK FOR UPDATE WITH CHRISTINA) including VAT, depending on the size of the vehicle. EV Support Package customers are not charged for our team to collect, check, clean and handover the vehicle to you.
        • If you do not sign up for the EV Support package then you will be charged a fee of £300 including VAT, which covers the ferry cost and the time for our team to collect, check, clean and handover the vehicle to you.

Out of Warranty EV Support Package

ReFLEX is now offering an Out of Warranty Support Package, to give you peace of mind once your EV has exceeded the manufacturer’s warranty period. This package is being offered to ReFLEX customers who have previously leased a car through our service, and have recently had their lease contract come to an end.

  • Out of Warranty EV Support Packaging Offering
    • For £25 + VAT = £30 per month the Out of Warranty EV Support package includes:
      • 10% of costs towards any mechanical repairs up to the value of £1000. Excluding tyres or servicing.
      • A courtesy vehicle when your vehicle is undergoing servicing or repairs.
      • Up to 21 days of access to an alternative or longer-range vehicle, which may be used to take trips off Orkney. This is subject to availability and payment of a daily charge and insurance excess in the event of damage. ***
      • Free demonstration drives in newly available ReFLEX demonstrator electric vehicles, for up to a total of 3 hours a year.
      • Advice on EV Chargers. We will advise on suitable charger options for your ReFLEX vehicle, including assisiting with any grant support schemes which may be available.
      • Free advice from our locally-based team on all EV matters. Including buying, running, and selling EVs.

EV Support Package for Privately Leased Vehicles

This support package is being offered to Orcadians who lease their EV privately, i.e. from a dealer other than ReFLEX and our leasing partners, Drive Electric.

  • Privately Leased Vehicles EV Support Package Offering
    • For £20 + VAT = £24 per month the Private Lease EV Support package includes:
      • Enhanced warranty cover specific to Orkney. In the event of any manufacturer required warranty work required on your ReFLEX Vehicle, this will cover one free return ferry journey at freight rates, or one vehicle and one passenger at standard rates, and other reasonable transport costs, up to a maximum aggregate of £400 (+VAT) per EV, over the term of this agreement, to get your vehicle to a UK mainland dealer, where the authorised dealer or manufacturer does not or will not cover these costs.
      • A courtesy vehicle when your vehicle is undergoing servicing or repairs.
      • Up to 21 days of access to an alternative or longer-range vehicle, which may be used to take trips off Orkney. This is subject to availability and payment of a daily charge and insurance excess in the event of damage. ***
      • Support with getting your vehicle delivered to Orkney. We will organise getting your EV delivered to Orkney, liasing with the supplier and booking transport. Please note that this does not include ferry costs.
      • Free demonstration drives in newly available ReFLEX demonstrator electric vehicles, for up to a total of 3 hours a year.
      • Advice on EV Chargers. We will advise on suitable charger options for your ReFLEX vehicle, including assisiting with any grant support schemes which may be available.
      • Free advice from our locally-based team on all EV matters. Including buying, running, and selling EVs.

EV Support Package for Out of Warranty Privately Leased Vehicles

This Out of Warranty Support Package is for privately leased vehicles, to give you peace of mind once your privately leased EV has exceeded the manufacturer’s warranty period.

  • Out of Warranty Privately Leased Vehicles EV Support Package
    • For £25 + VAT = £30 per month the Out of Warranty EV Support package includes:
      • 10% of costs towards any mechanical repairs up to the value of £1000. Excluding tyres or servicing.
      • A courtesy vehicle when your vehicle is undergoing servicing or repairs.
      • Up to 21 days of access to an alternative or longer-range vehicle, which may be used to take trips off Orkney. This is subject to availability and payment of a daily charge and insurance excess in the event of damage. ***
